load for platform types

load is one verb for retrieving anything by identity: the type after it decides whether it becomes a record, a saved search or a file.

Implementation
Implemented in the compiler, not yet published
Kind
Mynt language, not a SuiteScript method
A

Supported · compiles today

mynt
1let customer = load Customer(123)2let customers = load Search("customsearch_active_customers")3let file = load File(456)4for c in customers {5    log.debug(c.email)6}
suitescriptoutput, trimmed
1const customer = record.load({2    type: record.Type.CUSTOMER,3    id: 1234});5 6const customers = mynt$savedSearch(search.Type.CUSTOMER, "customsearch_active_customers", ["email"], []);7 8const file = file$.load({9    id: 45610});

Search and File are platform types, not record types: they cannot be created or searched. A saved search's row type comes from the account snapshot; a File is opaque so far.

B

In the compiler, not yet published: npm 0.1.0 does not have it. Loading records is published (0.0.1); load Search and load File are in the compiler only. 0.1.0 loads saved searches with search saved. Verified with mynt build on 13 Oct 2026.

  1. Reached the compiler.
  2. Accepted search.load: Saved searches are loaded by script id with load Search(...), replacing search saved. load is the one verb for retrieving platform objects, and the type decides what it lowers to (compiler commit e0a8114).
C

SuiteScript methods this feature lowers to or works through. They are counted on their own pages, never through the feature.
