Strings and interpolation
Single quotes are the canonical string style, and ${expression} interpolates a string, number or boolean into either quote style.
- Implementation
- Implemented in the compiler, not yet published
- Kind
- Mynt language, not a SuiteScript method
A
mynt syntax
Supported · compiles today
log.debug('Owner: ${customer.email}')
1log.debug({2 title: "execute",3 details: `Owner: ${customer.getValue({4 fieldId: "email"5 })}`6});
Double quotes still mean the same. Only text-like values interpolate: a record, a reference or an optional is an error, with the explicit form suggested.
B
release and compatibility
In the compiler, not yet published: npm 0.1.0 does not have it. Verified with mynt build on 13 Oct 2026.
- Reached the compiler.
C
related suitescript apis
No SuiteScript method of its own.
It compiles to plain JavaScript, so there is no Oracle API behind it.
